Fresh Raw Sevillano Olives, 18-23 mm Large to Jumbo Mix, 10 lb Box
Fresh, green, uncured Sevillano olives selected from our regular harvest in an 18–23 mm size range. In familiar commercial olive terminology, this is broadly a Large-to-Jumbo mix. These are sound fruit—not defects or culls—with Sevillano’s characteristic dense flesh and curing character, offered in our lowest-priced 10 lb fresh-olive box.
FLASH SALE — 30% OFF WHILE THIS HARVEST ALLOCATION LASTS
Today’s section of the orchard yielded more 18–23 mm Large-to-Jumbo Sevillano than we currently have orders for.
Regularly $47.50; this already-harvested 10 lb allocation is $33.25.
Because this fruit is already off the trees, this flash-sale allocation will be packed and sent on our next UPS pickup, Tuesday, September 8, ahead of the regular harvest queue.
This exception applies only to this already-harvested 18–23 mm fruit. It does not change the order of customers waiting for our larger Sevillano or other fresh-olive selections.
2026 Sevillano Harvest Update, September 7
Our new sizing equipment has increased both our daily production rate and our sizing accuracy. Olives packed under this item number measure approximately 18–23 mm in diameter, ranging broadly from Large through Jumbo in familiar commercial size language. Fruit 17 mm and smaller is not packed for shipment.
The fruit is still very green and firm, and this size range is abundant in the 2026 crop.
For regular harvest orders, we are currently working through orders already in the queue. Orders placed after August 18 should allow approximately seven business days before shipment. This is an order-processing lead time, not time that harvested olives are held.
We harvest fruit as we work through the queue so that olives can be sized, graded, packed, and handed to UPS while fresh. Exact timing can vary slightly with harvest conditions and the daily size distribution of the crop. Orders are filled in the order received.
Back-in-stock notifications are alerts only; they do not reserve fruit or a place in the harvest queue. An order must be placed to enter the queue.
What Is the 18–23 mm Large-to-Jumbo Sevillano Mix?
This 18–23 mm Large-to-Jumbo harvest mix is the fruit we previously offered as “Undersize Sevillano.” We have changed the name because the measured size range is more useful to customers than defining the fruit by what it is not.
These are sound, whole Sevillano olives selected from the 2026 harvest in an 18–23 mm size range. They are smaller than the fruit reserved for our 24 mm-and-larger Sevillano boxes, but they are not damaged olives or processing culls.
Each box contains a natural assortment within the stated range. You can expect a mixture of more modestly sized fruit, broadly spanning familiar terms such as Large, Extra Large, and Jumbo. Exact sizes and proportions will vary with the orchard, maturity, and daily sort. Specific sizes cannot be requested.
Some of this fruit may be similar in general size to Manzanillo, but it remains a different variety, with Sevillano’s characteristic shape, dense flesh, and comparatively substantial pit.
For a larger quantity, choose our 20 lb box of 18–23 mm Sevillano olives . Customers who prefer the largest Sevillano available may instead choose our 24 mm+ Sevillano 10 lb box or our 24 mm+ Sevillano 20 lb box .
Fresh Raw Olives for Home Curing
These freshly harvested Sevillano olives are sold raw, uncured, and untreated. They must be cured before eating.
Whether you are continuing a family tradition or preparing olives for the first time, Sevillano’s dense flesh makes it well suited to lye curing, brining, and cracked or smashed olive preparations.

About Sevillano Olives
Sevillano originated in Seville, Spain, where the variety is known as Gordal, meaning “the fat one.” In the United States, the characteristically larger fruit may also be described using size terms such as Queen, Jumbo, or Colossal, although commercial size descriptions vary.
Sevillano carries a relatively large pit in proportion to its flesh. Its dense flesh and very low oil content help it retain a substantial texture through curing and make it especially desirable as a table olive.
Sevillano is grown for curing and is not a practical choice for making olive oil at home.
Compare Fresh Olive Box Sizes and Prices
Prices vary according to fruit size and maturity. The 18–23 mm Large-to-Jumbo Sevillano mix is sound fruit selected from the same harvest and normally offered at a lower price. Ripe olives are a separate seasonal offer selected for color and oil content.
This 10 lb 18–23 mm Sevillano box is our lowest-priced 10 lb fresh-olive offer. The 20 lb 18–23 mm Sevillano box offers the lowest regular price per pound when that quantity suits your curing plans.

How Fresh Olives Ship
During harvest, olives are picked from Corning orchards early each morning, then sized, graded, and hand-packed at our Fresh Olive Rally Point in Corning for our afternoon UPS pickup.
For regular harvest orders, an order may wait approximately seven business days before its fruit is harvested. We do not harvest an order’s olives and then hold them for seven days. The lead time reflects the orders ahead of yours; fruit is harvested as we are ready to process and ship it.
Occasionally, as with the flash-sale allocation offered above, a particular size may come off the trees in greater quantity than current orders require. Already-harvested fruit is offered for prompt shipment rather than held while unrelated orders move through the queue.
All fresh olives ship by UPS Ground. The exact charge is calculated at checkout using American Olive Farmer’s discounted UPS merchant rate and is passed through without markup. UPS may apply a remote- or extended-area surcharge based on the delivery address.
Each 10 lb box ships as a separate package with its own UPS label. Multiple-box orders are therefore charged per package. We have compared the alternatives carefully: several manageable cartons cost less to ship than one exceptionally heavy carton.
Each olive variety is packed separately. We cannot combine Sevillano and Manzanillo in one box because the varieties may be harvested, graded, and packed at different times.
