Larger gatherings will require larger trays, platters, and boards to keep guest plates in good stead. Load this generous 17.5" olivewood board with nearly 50% more room than the small board.

Olivewood's warm and varied grain creates a gracious canvas for entertaining. Simple single-piece construction with straight sides and smooth finish allows room for 3 to 5  meats or cheeses along with complementary fruit, crackers, or condiments for a generous board. A classic charcuterie board highlights a variety of three or four meats differentiated by texture and flavor, (remember, cheese is not required), so this might be the ideal size for everyday entertaining.

As with all natural products, you will appreciate that individual pieces exhibit variations in size and shape, and sometimes show vivid differences in markings.

How to care for your olivewood

Keep your olive wood in good condition. Please hand wash (do not soak) and hand dry. For maintenance, treat wood with mineral oil or wood butter. This will enhance the grain, seal the wood from moisture, and prevent cracking. We do not recommend using cooking oil for treatment because it will become rancid.
