Flavor & Enjoyment

Bright lemon flavor dominates this oil made with late harvest California olives. It's well loved with both sweet and savory fare. Some of our patron's favorite uses include a simple over over fish, with green veggies, or as an ingredient in lemon bars and other baked goods.

I like to pair lemon olive oil with honey enjoy it on toast or in oatmeal, and it is terrific stirred into ice cream, yogurt, or cottage cheese with or without fresh fruit. Quite a few customers purchase Rosato Balsamic Vinegar the same time they purchase lemon for a light and lemony vinaigrette.

How Lemon Agrumato Olive Oil is Made

Fresh California Lisbon and Meyer lemons are crushed with late season California olives to produce this end of season limited edition agrumato-style olive oil. “Agrumi” means citrus in Italian, and to make something “agrumato” is to make it citrusy. The results are delizioso. There are no additives or flavorings. This oil is made solely by crushing and co-milling the two ingredients and extracting the oil solely via mechanical means.
