Flavor & Enjoyment

This lovely vinegar boasts bright acidity and subtle fruity, floral, and flinty aromas. It's exceptional in a Mignonette sauce for seafood, such as oysters, clams, shrimp, crab, and lobster and pairs well with avocados and with acidic fruits such as citrus, pomegranates, pineapple, and even tomatoes. You'll find that also makes a delightful beverage, too!

About this Product

This delicate and fruity rosé vinegar is made from Pinot Nero (aka Pinot Noir) grapes grown north of Modena. As with rosé wines, the skins and seeds are left in the juice of the freshly crushed fruit for a period of time to establish the desired color and flavor.

best

I received this as a Christmas gift and it's actually my favorite. The taste is so light and delicious. I made two gluten-free pastas with this. I ran out and bought some thing from the store that I thought would be similar and it was too bitter. This is the only one that is perfect.

Use as base for salad dressing only

While I think this is fine to use for salad dressing, it is not good to eat with bread. I don’t think we’ll buy it again.

American Olive Farmer, Home of Lucero Olive Oil

Thank you for being a customer for over ten years and for taking the time to leave a comment about your experience using Rosato Balsamic Vinegar. I'm grateful for the insight as it makes me think I should be more explicit in the website description about the viscosity of the rosé and white vinegars versus the traditional, and I will do so. FYI, the traditional balsamic vinegar is reduced to the point of yielding 12 gms of sugar from the grapes per serving. The rosé's sugar content is only 10 gms and the white 9 gms. Enjoying vinegar with bread is a contemporary phenomenon, and one I believe is exclusively American. I had not considered it when writing the descriptions and regret the omission. Thank you again for your comment.
