Olivewood Olive Serving Set, 3 Pieces
Here's a complete olive serving set, including a boat-shaped bowl, a condiment spoon, and an olive pick.
The rustic boat is made from a single piece of olivewood with a live edge, which means that olive tree bark appears alternately intact as well as artistically missing in places. The bowl's rim undulates in height naturally, and the varying color and texture add interest.
As with all handmade wooden items, each bowl's dimensions will vary as will color, grain, and general appearance. Having a live edge adds to the diversity of offer.
We sourced this size to accommodate 2 standard jars of store-bought olives (20 oz, drained weight), and of course we hope this idea will delight all of our patrons who brine their own olives at home.
If you enjoy eating and serving olives, I've published a quick and easy appetizer that I think you'll enjoy. It's depicted in the second photo and can be found on the page for our Warm Herbed Olives

How to care for your olivewood
To keep your olive wood in good condition please hand wash (do not soak) and hand dry. For maintenance, treat wood with mineral oil or wood butter. This will enhance the grain, seal the wood from moisture, and prevent cracking. We do not recommend using cooking oil for treatment because it will become rancid.
