The natural beauty of olivewood is highlighted in these simple and elegant Japanese style chopsticks. Each pair of chopsticks, or hashi as they are known in Japan, starts off square at the thick end for easy-handling, then tapers to a fine round point, ideal for precision usage over a tray of sushi or any other of your favorite foods.  

Please note that these chopsticks are handmade and may exhibit slight variations in shape. They are also more hefty that traditional chopsticks from Japan. We requested 100% inspection in December. Please notify us at once if these are not 100% to your satisfaction.

Chopstick rests and the additional pairs of chopsticks that are shown are not included. Item is one pair of chopsticks and the photos are for illustrative purposes.

How to care for your olivewood

Keep your olive wood in good condition. Please hand wash (do not soak) and hand dry.  For maintenance, treat wood with mineral oil or wood butter. This will enhance the grain, seal the wood from moisture, and prevent cracking. We do not recommend using cooking oil for treatment because it will become rancid. Does not work

The chopsticks are not comfortable. They are hard to grab because they are too thick in the area. They are not properly designed.
